HOW TO BRING THE POSITIVE ENERGY IN TO YOUR ROOMThursday, July 17, 2014
My room sometimes feel without the right kind of energy and completely tiring. The moment I step in it gives me feeling like I should fall down in to my bed, turn on my favorite TV show and just keep watching it until I fall asleep. In the meantime let’s text all of my bad decisions or should I say guys I hooked up with, make complete embarrassment out of myself, ask them to maybe get some drink or any other shit and so on and on and on… Basically ever texting a guy that you have to keep description about him under the notes is a bad decision. Yeah let’s talk about my room…
1. clean your room:
This is the first and most important part. As much as I hate to admit this but falling asleep in a tidy room is much easier and lovelier than having a full workout before a sleep with trying to get to your bed through all of the shoes on the floor, belts on your pillow, handbags on your blanket and necklaces hanging down from your bedside lamp. Yea folks this is description of my room at the moment
2. bring in the air:
Fresh air and natural light will bring more energy to your space and more important to you. Get rid of the smell of the furniture, clothes and you by opening all the windows and doors so air can circle in the room
3. turn on some music:
Music always helps just make sure you don’t put the song that brings to much emotions to you. Fill a room with a music, dance and sing along. Do some dirty dancing and show it to your room that this girl got some moves. Show your inner Sasha Fierce !
4. fresh flowers:
I just love having fresh flowers in my room. Flowers makes room much more welcoming and refreshing. Using them as a piece of decoration is a thing among the bloggers. Go and steal them from your neighbor at night while she’s sleeping if you don’t have them on your garden. Even one daisy is going to change the whole look of your room but imagine the whole bouquet on your table. Let’s pretend that one of our rich lovers from Upper East Side brought them to us
5. perfume up the room
I don’t even know if that’s a real phrase but I’m sure you know what I'm talking about. If you can find air freshener that actually smells good that is great great but most of them smell like a toilet at some cheap restaurant and to be honest I’m not in to that kind of feeling in my room. I bought a bunch of cheap perfumes (perfumes for people) so I can use them for my room instead. They smell really great but I know they wouldn't last on me so I use them in my room. Simple spray few times in the air and that’s it. In the winter time you can spray a perfume over the radiator and when radiator get’s hot it will spread the smell of a perfume through the whole room
I could actually put candles under the tip number 5 but I think candles deserves category for themselves. They have much bigger power at night because of the darkness but if you buy candles that also smell amazing then you can use them also during daytime. Yankee Candles is the company with really cool scented candles, sadly their candles are a bit more pricey. Much cheaper is if you buy Tarts wax melts and then put them in wax warmer. Candles have a reputation of a romantic decoration but don’t throw away this idea just because you’re a single (and by the way completely gorgeous bachelorette) and you feel weird if you light up a candle for yourself. Be romantic for yourself because you deserve it!
